It seems that every single military/NASA aerospace/defense contractor uses the same "flat, non-rotating earth" model to make calculations for aircrafts, radar systems, target-locking systems, navigation system, ammunition ballistic systems and everything else that an aerodynamic flying object needs to travel across the Earth.
