Alcohol, which is more socially acceptable, has similar effects after reaching the stage of becoming drunk and increasingly becomes worse to the point the body “blacks out” which is short term memory loss from a more severe level demonic possession. As it is written, demons are sent by Yahawah to afflict wicked men & women for their wickedness, whether in the current life OR previous ones. Demonic afflictions of a man, woman or child of any type and degree (or any evil, for that matter) never occur randomly.
Saul, for example, was a good and loving man, until he disobeyed Yahawah. Yahawah then took away the righteous spirit from Saul and then sent a demon (devil) to torment him, corrupting his mind influencing him to be increasingly wicked.
